The arrival dates (Lufthansa, Yemenia, Egypt Air, Eritrean
Airlines) are normally around 11pm. Because of that, we recommend to stay in asmara for 1 night and drive down to Massawa the next morning(approx. 2 h), so will arrive relaxed at the Red Sea. Depending on the wishes of the clients we start our trip on saturday afternoon (Arrival in Eritrea fridsay night, 1 night in Asmara, saturday morning transfer to Massawa) or on suday morning(8 am). This is flexible and we are always here to fullfill you wishes.

We are on the ocean for 5 days, travelling with a traditional fishermen's ship( 2 cabins à 6 and 8 persons, WC, kitchen, comfortable seats and tables at the ship's covered stern, shower on deck.

You will bwe supplied with 3 meals per day, softdrinks, cofee, tea(Alcoholics cost extra, but have them witrh us), 2-4 dives per day.

Mostly, we sleep on deck under the firmament or we camp on one of the countless islands, coming back relaxed at the fifth day at around 5pm.

During the trip, you are not safe against many exciting surprises we provide for you! Eritrea is more than diving.

We care for the transfer from Asmara airport to the hotels, Transfers to/from Massawa, the organisation of the 5-day liveaboard cruise.

The flights are managed by every client, since we experience that many divers want to arrive earlier/stay a week or so longer to explore Eritreas many land attractions. For the cheapest airfares, please contact our partner agency, Redseatours (see linkpage). They will be happy to help you.

It definitely makes sense to stay longer in Eritrea to experience the country and the friendliness of the people. Asmara has many beautiful places, and from there, you can plan day trips to the breathtaking areas around. We are happy to help you with this!

Canyons and the ancient world: 2-day trip to Quohaito and Metera

Danakil jeep expedition

You normally don't have the chance to explore such an extreme area of our planet like the Danakil depression is.
We offer you to join us by exploring this stunning and great place with jeeps!

We will start and head south with Landcruisers,
expedition equipment, food and a lot of cool water, driving down slowly along the coast to Assab, close to the border of Djibouti. There, we will be in a hotel again.

On the way, we often stop, take pictures, camp on the pristine beaches, grill spicy fish, having coffee ceremony with locals, snorkel and swimm in lonesome bays, see volcanoes and bizzare rock formations.

ostriches, jackals, foxes, antelopes...and we are in the middle!
We drive along the dDanakil depression, will be partly below sea level and pass nearby the hottest spot on earth!
